An Apology
I will do better. My apologies for yesterday’s early out. I now know that we could have stayed until 3:00 and still got all home safely. I have many excuses for my mistake and will list them in alphabetical order.
- An unnatural fear of being trapped at school with no way of getting home to feed the gecko.
- Barely able to interpret weather radar.
- Crisis mode induced tunnel vision.
- Did I mention that I have a needy gecko?

- Voices whispering over and over, “ close school, close school”

On a serious note, I know that it is a big deal for families to find care for their children when we change our school hours. For this reason, I am sorry for yesterday’s mistake and will do better in the future.
